President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. expressed his gratitude for the public's unwavering support as showed by the results of the latest Pulse Asia Survey where he received a high approval rating in March.

The latest survey by the polling firm showed that Marcos got an approval rating of 78 percent based on 1,200 respondents in the survey.

Based on the survey, the public is most satisfied with Vice President Sara Duterte, the daughter of Marcos' predecessor, who got 83 percent.

In an Instagram post, Marcos thanked the public for the trust and support that they give to him and the Vice President.

"Tunay na nakatataba ng puso ang patuloy na pagmamahal at pagtitiwala na ibinibigay ng taumbayan sa amin ni VP @indaysaraduterte (The continued love and trust that the public gives me and the Vice President is truly heartwarming)," he wrote.

The President assured Filipinos that their support would not be wasted.

"Asahan po ninyong malayo ang mararating ng inyong suporta, lalo na at pundasyon ito ng tagumpay ng mga programang ating inilalaan para sa ikauunlad ng bawat Pilipino (Rest assured that your support would come a long way, especially since it is the foundation of the success of our programs which are aimed to ensure the progress of every Filipino)," he added.

Based on the survey conducted from March 15 to 19, only five percent of the respondents disapproved of Marcos' performance for the past seven months.

Meanwhile, both Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri and House Speaker Martin Romualdez obtained a relatively good score of 51-percent approval rating.

Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo got a 43-percent approval rating.
