Over 1,000 new cases of Covid-19 recorded–DOH

The Philippines confirmed another 1,122 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, Nov. 19.

Based on the Department of Health's (DOH) latest data, the active cases nationwide slightly went down to 18,864 as compared to 19,267 active infections the previous day.

The Health department reported that Metro Manila logged the highest infections in the past 14 days with 3,525.

It was followed by Calabarzon with 2,058, Western Visayas with 1,577, Central Luzon with 1,193, and Central Visayas with 1,114.

At present, the country's confirmed cases since 2020 rose to 4,024,956.

Of the figure, 3,941,624 patients were able to survive. However, 64,468 people died because of Covid-19.
