A drug peddler was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by members of the Pasay City police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) in possession of P360,400 worth of shabu and a firearm on Wednesday, April 12.
The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspect, identified as Custer Pedro, 30, alias “Jan,” was arrested at around 7:20 p.m. along Humilidad St., Barangay 14 Zone 1, Pasay City.
The police said members of the SDEU conducted the buy-bust operation for the arrest of Pedro who was listed in the police drug watch list as street value individual (SVI).
The SDEU members were able to confiscate from Pedro three plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 53 grams and with an estimated market value of P360,400.
The operatives also confiscated from Perdo one .9mm Taurus with nine live ammunition inside a magazine and one genuine P1,000 bill on top of 49 pieces of boodle money.
The confiscated shabu was turned over to the SPD Forensic Unit for chemical analysis.
The suspect was detained at the police custodial facility after his arrest and was charged for illegal possession of drugs and firearm.
