DOH logs over 1,300 new Covid-19 cases

The Philippines once again recorded more than 1,000 cases of Covid-19 on Sunday, Nov. 27.

Based on the Department of Health's (DOH) data, another 1,326 new Covid-19 cases were detected.

These new infections brought the number of active cases across the country to 18,482.

Most of the infections in the last 14 days were recorded in the National Capital Region with 3,874.

It was followed by Calabarzon with 1,961 cases; Western Visayas with 1,293; Central Luzon with 1,069; and Central Visayas with 1,034.

Since the pandemic started two years ago, the cumulative tally of cases rose to 4,033,682.

Of the total confirmed cases, 3,950,606 were recoveries while 64,594 were tagged as fatalities.
