ZAMBOANGA CITY – A police corporal was wounded when armed men attacked a newly constructed police outpost in Tipo-Tipo, Basilan on Wednesday, April 12.

A report from the Basilan Police Provincial Office said lawless elements opened fire at the outpost and hit Police Corporal Nasser Hain who was on duty that time shortly after 8 p.m.
The victim was taken to the Lamitan District Hospital in Basilan.
Police are conducting hot-pursuit operations against the suspects.
