Construction worker nabbed for stealing branded bags in Makati

A construction worker was arrested for allegedly stealing several branded bags in a shopping mall in Barangay San Lorenzo, Makati City, Tuesday, April 11. Police identified the suspect as Ariel Marcos, 24. According to the police report, a security officer of UNIQLO in Glorietta 5 caught Marcos putting several items in a paper bag. The suspect attempted to flee without paying for the goods, prompting the officer to hold him. Four lady bucket bags worth P5,960 were recovered from Marcos who is now under the custody of the Makati City Police and will be charged with theft (shoplifting), police said.
