Around 72 families who were victims of a fire incident in Parañaque City were given cash assistance from the Office of Senator Bong Go on April 12 at the Don Galo Sports Complex.
Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez, together with the Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (SWD-NCR), distributed P10,000 each to the families affected by the fires at Regaldo Street and Quirino Avenue in Barangay Don Galo on March 27.
The mayor said the distribution of cash assistance from Go's office was a big help to the victims for their recovery from the incident.
Olivarez said the city government also distributed cash assistance and relief goods to the victims on March 29 and construction materials on April 4.
The mayor also thanked Go for establishing the Malasakit Center at the Ospital ng ng Parañaque-1 (OsPar-1) located in Barangay La Huerta.
