Las Piñas gov't holds pneumonia vaccination drive for senior citizens

The Las Piñas city government launched its pneumonia vaccination drive for senior citizens on Tuesday, April 11. Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the team of the City Health Office (CHO), joined by Vice Mayor April Aguilar, simultaneously conducted the pneumonia vaccination drive at Saint Joseph covered court and Barangay Almanza covered court. She said the vaccination of senior citizens is line with the city’s goal of protecting the welfare of the elderly.

The mayor advised the senior citizens to join the pre-registration and screening that are currently taking place across health centers in the city. Aguilar said the CHO will conduct vaccinations every Friday and listed the schedule for reference of senior citizens on the date and time. She said the CHO will conduct vaccination on Friday, April 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, at CAA Events Place and at Talon covered court from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Friday, April 21, the vaccination will be held at Pamplona I covered court from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and Golden Acres covered from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Aguilar said the schedule on Friday, April 28, will be at Manuyo I covered court from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and at Aguilar Sports Complex from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
