Pharmacy worker arrested for violating anti-fencing law in Las Piñas City

A pharmacy assistant was arrested in an entrapment operation conducted by members of the Las Piñas police Pilar Substation on Sunday, April 10.

Col. Jaime Santos, city police chief, said the suspect, identified as Domingo dela Torre, 23, was arrested at around 10:15 p.m. at Shakey’s Pizza Parlor located along Alabang-Zapote Road, Las Piñas City.

The victim, identified as Christopher Niebres 30, a telco manager, reported that his IPhone 12 Promax was stolen.

During the entrapment operation conducted by members of the Pilar Substation, the stolen cellular phone worth P37,000 was recovered from Dela Torre.

The police also recovered from the suspect the P6,000 entrapment money and a Redmi 10C cellular phone. 

The suspect is now detained at the police custodial facility and was charged for violation of the anti-fencing law.
