"A great vote of confidence." That's how House Minority Leader and 4Ps Party-list Rep. Marcelino Libanan described the results of the latest job performance survey of the RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. on party-list groups in the House of Representatives. “We are very thankful for the people’s support. The poll results have inspired us to work even harder, and to find more ways to serve and help our constituents,” Libanan said, referring to RPMD's “Boses ng Bayan” survey. In the poll carried out between Feb. 25 and March 8, 4Ps received a job approval rating of 87.5 percent, ranking it among the top five party-list groups with the highest performance score. The “Boses ng Bayan” survey involved 10,000 adult respondents who were interviewed face-to-face. In the May 2022 national elections, 4Ps received almost 850,000 votes, enabling it to send two nominees – Libanan and JC Abalos – to the House of Representatives. Libanan and Abalos have been pushing for increases in the cash grants for poor households under the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) to enable beneficiaries to keep up with rampant inflation. The two lawmakers have also been batting for improved government support for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) that are key to creating new gainful employment and livelihood opportunities in the provinces.
