Korean actress and model Jung Chae-yul was found dead at her home on April 11. She was 26.
“Today, we have to tell you very heartbreaking and unfortunate news. Actor Jung Chae-yul left us on April 11, 2023,” her agency Management S announced.

It added, “According to the wishes of the bereaved family, who must be in greater sorrow than anyone else, the funeral will be held quietly and privately.”
“We hope that actor Chae-yul, who has always been sincere in front of acting, can rest in peace in a warm place. We earnestly ask you to refrain from spreading rumors and speculative reports in this regard,” the agency said.
Jung Chae-yul debuted as a model under ESteem Entertainment in 2015 and debuted as an actor in 2018 in the movie “Deep.”
She appeared in the 2020 Netflix film “Time to Hunt” starring Lee Je-hoon , Ahn Jae-hong , Choi Woo-shik , Park Jung-min and Park Hae-soo.
In addition, she appeared in the dramas “Zombie Detective” and “I Have Not Done My Best.”
She was filming the drama “Wedding Impossible.”
In an Instagram post on April 4, Jung Chae-yul wrote, “I'm going to blog more frequently from now on.”
Her last Instagram post was on April 8 in which she uploaded photos of herself drinking.
