For Kakampinks only? Guanzon offers to help sue schools that force ROTC on students

P3PWD Party-list nominee Rowena Guanzon is offering her services to file legal cases against schools that require their students to enroll themselves under the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) progam. But the lawyer and former Commission on Elections (Comelec) commissioner appears to be limiting her offer to "Kakampink students". "Kakampink students who are forced by schools to take ROTC , dm me. Let's sue the bastards," Guanzon tweeted on Tuesday, April 11. She tweeted this amid moves in Congress to make the controversial ROTC program mandatory. The outspoken Guanzon had earlier said that the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Act of 2001 gives Filipino students the choice on whether or not to take up the program. During the May 2022 national elections, Guanzon backed the presidential campaign of then-vice president Leni Robredo. Robredo's supporters were collectively called "Kakampinks"--a portmanteau of "kakampi" (ally) and pink, which was the lady official's campaign color.
