The two proved to be the vital cogs to the Indonesia Sky Kings’ perfect run in the playoffs which was capped by a masterful 4-0 sweep of EVOS Legends.

Although missing his chance of also winning a second straight Finals MVP award, Kairi remained to be a force with Onic, setting the tone for the rout with a spotless 11-0-2 KDA on the signature Fanny pick in Game 1 before following it up with a 2-0-2 line on the Lancelot in Game 2.

EVOS showed some resistance in Games 3 and 4 but Kairi also displayed a steady resolve and flexibility with a 1-1-9 performance on the jungle Grock and an impressive 12-0-7 line on the Hayabusa.

Coach Yeb, after getting elevated to the head coaching role this season, helped Onic complete a playoff sweep after also not dropping a single game in its earlier series with a pair of 3-0 wins against EVOS and Alter Ego.

It was now the second title for the Filipino player-coach tandem overseas and also the fourth title of Onic Esports, tying RRQ Hoshi for the most MPL titles in all regions.

The victory also assured the two their first MLBB: Southeast Asia Cup appearance where MPL ID will be represented by Onic Esports and EVOS Legends.
