Factory worker, man drown in Pangasinan

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – A factory worker drowned in a beach here, the Police Regional Office-1 reported on Monday, April 10. Factory worker Jaime Mendoza, 43, of Barangay Pulang Lupa, Valenzuela City, was swimming with colleagues when he drowned at Lingayen Beach in front of YRS Resort near boundary of this town and Binmaley. Meanwhile, the body of a man was found floating on the Agno River in Santo Tomas, this province The man was described as 5’4” in height, 30 to 40-years-old, wearing black short, medium built, had a necklace and ring, and an "Angel" on his left arm. The victim who was discovered by Richard Alcause, 35, while fishing on the river was believed to have drowned somewhere else and carried away by the river current.
