Uy said that the Calbayog Zipline is not just an adventurous attraction but a testament to the city's commitment to tourism development, job creation, and economic growth.
He expressed optimism that it will generate significant revenue for the city through tourist arrivals and it is seen as a complimentary addition to the city's other tourist activities.
The Calbayog Zipline and Malajog Ridge is a one-minute zipline ride, 57 meters above sea level from the launch deck on top of Malajog Cove, connected to the nearby Daraga Islet.
Guests may also go for water adventures such as swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, and island-hopping.
To ensure the guests' safety, the project's development team provides protective gear and professional supervision throughout the ride.
