Man yields over P350,000 worth of shabu in Navotas
Operatives of Navotas City Police Station (NCPS) seized P354,348 worth of alleged shabu in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Jose, Navotas City on Friday, March 31.
Col. Lt. Allan Umipig, NCPS station commander, identified the suspect as Que Jason Robert, 40, a resident of Banawe, Quezon City.
According to the police report, a buy-bust operation was conducted by NCPS in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) that resulted in the arrest of the suspect at 10:49 p.m. on Friday.
Seized from the suspect were four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 52.11 grams of alleged shabu, a cellular phone, a black sling bag, and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspect will be charged for violation of Sections 5 and 11 under Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
