Korean show 'Jinny's Kitchen' episode 6 bounces back in the ratings

The unscripted Korean show “Jinny’s Kitchen” (aka “Seojin’s”) aired its episode 6 on March 31 and bounced back in the ratings.  “Jinny’s Kitchen” features Korean stars Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-jun, Choi Woo-shik and BTS’ V as they operate a Korean street food restaurant in Bacalar, Mexico.  Based on Nielsen Korea data, episode 6 of “Jinny’s Kitchen” on March 31 garnered a nationwide rating of 8.924 percent among paid platform subscription households (cable, IPTV and satellite) in South Korea.  This is an increase of 1.326 percentage points from the 7.598 percent rating the show got for episode 5 last March 24 and the second highest rating the show got since it premiered on Feb. 24.   "Jinny's Kitchen" (Photos from tvN) Based on the number of viewers, “Jinny’s Kitchen” episode 6 was watched by 2.05 million people nationwide in South Korea, compared to 1.81 million people for episode 5.  In the metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeong-gi and Incheon) in South Korea, episode 6 got a rating of 10.839 percent, up by 2.19 percentage points compared to 8.649 percent for episode 5. It was watched by 1.17 million people in the metropolitan area.  This is also the second highest metropolitan area rating “Jinny’s Kitchen” received since episode 1.
