Maegan Aguilar is adamant that she doesn’t need to undergo drug rehabilitation, maintaining she is not a habitual drug user. This, even after she tested positive for methamphetamine following a hair strand drug test as facilitated by Senator Raffy Tulfo. According to Precilla O’donell, Director of business operations of Easy DNA, the laboratory that conducted the test on Maegan, the hair strand drug test could detect drugs in a client’s system up to 90 days prior. The test was done in agreement with Maegan in an effort to disprove allegations against her relating to her supposed dependence on illegal drugs. In an earlier episode of “Raffy Tulfo In Action,” Maegan insisted that the last time she took drugs was was when she was just 15 years old and it was mainly marijuana. However, after being informed that she tested positive for methamphetamine, she broke down in tears, admitting, she had indeed taken it fairly recently. “It was one day..one instance...yun po ang nangyari. Kinailangan lang bilang pakikisama kasi mapapahamak kami,” she said. “I thought it doesn’t matter. It was one time. Hindi po ako addict.” She asked for reconsideration but the lawmaker is unmoved. He made clear to Maegan he would only help her if she completed the rehabilitation program. Maegan refused at first. "I don't need rehab," she said. But upon the senator's insistence, she eventually acquiesced. “Kung makakabuti po yung magpapa-rehab ako, gagawin ko po sir,” was Maegan’s reply. Fans have mixed reactions.
