Imee leads payout of financial assistance for DSWD AICS beneficiaries in Agusan

BUTUAN CITY – Sen. Imee Marcos led the distribution of financial assistance to 1,364 beneficiaries from Agusan del Norte under the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program on Wednesday, March 31, at the Agusan del Norte Provincial Capitol Covered Court in this city. Beneficiaries were from the towns of Remedios T. Romualdez, Jabonga, Buenavista, Las Nieves, Nasipit, and Cabadbaran City. They received P3,000 each for a total of P4,092,000, DSWD-13 (Caraga) Regional Information Office chief Marko Davey D. Reyes said. The presidential sister was assisted by Agusan del Norte Gov. Maria Angelica Rosedell Amante and Agusan del Norte Rep. Dale Corvera. “This AICS payout is an initiative of the provincial government of Agusan del Norte with the help of Sen. Marcos,” Gov. Amante said. Gov. Amante thanked Sen. Marcos for the continued support to the provincial government and personally gracing the payout.
