IKEA unboxes first ever 3D billboard with Tito Ball

IKEA’s official mascot Tito Ball got entangled in a controversy concerning the disappearance of the Mall of Asia (MOA) Globe last November 2021. Many months after the incident, he finally found a home where he truly belongs.

The go-to-happy place for adults who are into home improvements just got even happier– last March 20, on World Happiness Day, IKEA launched its first-ever 3D Billboard in Pasay City.

Ikea_Pasay City (1).jpg The 3D ad begins with an unboxing of an IKEA package. Inside, it shows Tito Ball greeting the viewers from inside an empty blue room. Then one by one, we see some of IKEA’s signature furniture pieces, like the KALLAX Shelf Unit and the LAMPAN Table Lamp, appear and float at the front and center of the screen. It may look like it’s falling off the edge and onto the roadside, but then the furniture finds its place and we see Tito Ball’s blue room come together.

Tito Ball was all smiles throughout the video, then again, who wouldn’t with a room full of affordable and high-quality Swedish furniture pieces? The ad is reminiscent of the happiness customers feel when shopping at IKEA.

The billboard sits on the facade of the IKEA Philippines store, welcoming customers and passersby with 30 seconds of irrevocable happiness. Then after that, you can find more happiness awaiting inside with affordable Swedish-designed furniture and home items perfect for every Filipino home.

The 3D LED Billboard is located at Marina Way, Mall of Asia Complex. Visit the IKEA Pasay store and see it for yourself.
