“Let us continue to capitalize on the gains of the Build, Build, Build program of the previous administration as this can also be used to sustain and to complement the 'Build Better More' program of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., to ensure that no one will be left behind in the road towards recovery,” Go said.

The senator made the pitch in celebration of former president Rodrigo Duterte's birthday on March 28.

The President through a video message, thanked his predecessor for all of the sacrifices he has done for the country.

Marcos promised to continue Duterte's legacy programs, considering how it has significantly helped the Filipinos.

"Happy birthday to you, Mr. President… Lahat ng magandang nasimulan ninyo (All the good things you started, we will continue working on it. We will continue to make sure that those projects you started will be successful. And I'm glad that I am able to continue the good work that you started," the President said in his greetings to Duterte.
