Fire hits high-rise building in QC

A fire broke out in a high-rise office building at the corner of Epifianio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) and Ortigas Avenue in Barangay Ugong Norte, Quezon City early Friday morning, March 31. The Quezon City Fire District said the fire at the 27th floor of Galleria Corporate Center started at around 2:32 a.m. It was declared under control at around 5:50 a.m. Firefighters extinguished the fire at around  6:40 a.m. No one was reported injured during the incident. Authorities have yet to determine the amount of damage to property and the cause of the fire.
