Baguio cops intensify campaign against criminality, nab six most wanted persons
BAGUIO CITY – The Baguio City Police Office reported 43 accomplishments during the implementation of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) from March 19 to March 28.
Records indicate that a total of 15 manhunt operations led to the capture of six most wanted persons and nine other wanted persons.
Six police operations were carried out as part of the stepped-up campaign against illegal drugs wherein three high value individuals and three street level individuals were arrested.
About 4.59 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of P31,212 were seized.
In the campaign against loose firearms, an individual was apprehended while nine firearms were confiscated/surrendered.
Five firearms were surrendered to the authorities for safekeeping as part of "Oplan: Katok."
In addition, eight individuals were arrested in other police operations and responses.
