20 MDRRMO personnel in Cagayan undergo water search and rescue training

Around 20 personnel of the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Lal-lo in Cagayan underwent a three-day water search and rescue (WASAR) training. The Cagayan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDDRMO) said they were taught basic rope rescue, high angle rescue, and basic swimming. These will increase their knowledge in disaster response and rescue during calamities, the PDDRMO said. Three of the trainees are women. Their training started on March 29 and ended on March 31.
