Tots Carlos, Jia De Guzman named top performers in PVL All-Filipino Conference
Tots Carlos bannered the list of individual awardees in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference after bagging the Conference Most Valuable Player plum.

It was Carlos’ third Conference MVP after emerging as the leading scorer after the semifinals with 152 points built on 136 spikes, five blocks and 11 aces. The 24-year-old Creamline Cool Smashers spiker also captured the Best Outside Spiker – her first for the position. It was a sweet achievement for Carlos after the Cool Smashers also captured the All-Filipino Conference title following a 20-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-15 victory over the Petro Gazz Angels Thursday night, March 30. Joining Carlos at the podium was teammate Jia De Guzman, who won the Best Setter and was later adjudged the Finals MVP. Also winning awards were Creamline's Michele Gumabao (Best Opposite Spiker) and Jema Galanza (Best Outside Spiker), Petro Gazz’s MJ Phillips and Remy Palma (Best Middle Blockers), and PLDT’s Kath Arado (Best Libero).
