Tarlac records 9 new COVID-19 cases

TARLAC CITY, Tarlac (PNA) â€“ Nine new confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, including that of a pregnant woman, were reported on Monday in this province, bringing the total tally to 228, as confirmed by the Department of Health (DOH).

The Tarlac COVID-19 Task Force said the 39-year-old pregnant woman from Barangay Sta. Rosa, Concepcion had a history of exposure to a positive patient.

With the nine new patients, the total number of active cases in the province rose to 93.

Meanwhile, the task force said a 26-year-old male from Barangay Binauganan here has newly recovered from the dreaded disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 125.

The total number of deaths remained at 13.
