Police net P2.7-M shabu in Quezon

CANDELARIA, Quezon – Police seized suspected shabu worth P2.7 million in buy-bust operations here on Wednesday, March 29. Three alleged drug pushers were arrested by the Candelaria Drug Enforcement Unit – Michael Malasma Dakila, Leovernie Montenegro Quitain, and Gerson Dinglasan Silva. Candelaria police chief Lt. Col. Dennis de Leon said Dakila was tagged as a high-value individual while Quitain and Silva are street-level individuals. Dakila and Quitain were apprehended in Purok 4, Barangay Masin Norte. Silva, on the other hand, was nabbed in Purok 4, Barangay Malabanban Sur. Suspects are in the custodial facility of the Candelaria Police Station. They face drug-related charges, said De Leon.
