CAVITE – The provincial government is offering a cash reward for information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect in the killing of Queen Leanne Daguinsin, a 24-year-old Computer Science student in Dasmariñas City.

In a statement on Thursday, March 30, the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) said Gov. Jonvic Remulla is offering P300,000 to anyone who can help authorities identify and track down the suspect who remains at large.

A CCTV footage showed the suspect climbing to the rooftop of an establishment to reach the victim’s dormitory building at around 1:00 a.m. on March 28.

Another footage showed the suspect leaving the dormitory while holding some items. The suspect was wearing a blue t-shirt, black shorts, a black cap, and white slippers.

Police Regional Office 4A Chief Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. has directed the Cavite PPO and Dasmariñas City Police Station (CPS) to use all available resources for the immediate arrest of the suspect.

In a Facebook post, the Cavite PPO appealed to the public to coordinate with the nearest police station if they have any information related to the case.

Daguinsin, a graduating student at De La Salle University–Dasmariñas, was found dead inside her dormitory room with 14 stab wounds in various parts of her body on March 28.
