House razed in Muntinlupa fire

A fire razed a house in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa on March 30, damaging P450,000 worth of property.  The Muntinlupa City Fire Station reported that the fire broke out at 2:34 p.m. at Block 22 Lot 16, Soldiers' Hills Village in Barangay Putatan.

The two-story house, owned by the Valera family, was occupied by two families or seven persons.  The fire reached the first alarm at 2:41 p.m. and was put out at 3 p.m. No one was injured in the blaze.  Investigators said the fire started from the living room but the cause is under investigation.  A total of seven fire trucks and one ambulance responded to the incident.  This is the fifth fire in Muntinlupa in 11 days. Last March 27, a fire razed two houses in Southville 3 housing project in Barangay Poblacion.
