'Headed in the right direction': Sandro tops job performance survey among rookie congressmen
Ilocos Norte 1st district Rep. Sandro Marcos thanked his constituents on Thursday, March 30 after he was ranked the number one neophyte member of the House of Representatives in terms of job performance rating in the current 19th Congress.
According to the results of the latest RP-Mission and Development Foundation, Inc. (RPMD) survey, House Senior Deputy Majority Leader Marcos bested 125 fellow neophyte or first-time members of the House that was covered by the survey.
"Thank you to my kakailian for the never ending trust and confidence ðŸ™ðŸ½," the presidential son wrote on Facebook as he shared a graphic of the 10 highest rated rookie solons.
"We are headed in the right direction but lots more to do! Rest assured we will keep on working for the betterment of Ilocos Norte and concomitantly the betterment of our country 🇵🇠Agyamanak apo!!!" he added.
The RPMD survey was carried out between Feb. 25 and March 8.
The topped-ranked Marcos garnered a lofty score of 95.8 percent based on the survey of rookie district representatives.
The next two solons on the list Cavite 1st district Rep. Jolo Revilla III (91.7 percent) and Cebu City 2nd district Rep. Eduardo Rama (91.5 percent), are statistically tied for second place.
There is a seven-way statistical tie for third place in the job performance survey.
This tie is composed of House members Laguna 3rd district Rep. Amben Amente (89.4 percent), Quezon City 4th district Rep. Marvin Rillo (88.7 percent), Nueva Ecija 4th district Rep. Emeng Pascual (88.6 percent), Cebu 1st district Rep. Rhea Mae Gullas (88.6 percent), Quezon City 6th district Rep. Marivic Co-Pillar (88.5 percent), Zambales 1st district Rep. Jeff Khonghun (88.5 percent), and Cagayan de Oro City 1st district Rep. Lordan Suan (88.4 percent)
