Cong Barzaga chips in, reward for student's killer now at P1.1M

Cavite 4th district Rep. Elpidio Barzaga Jr. has highlighted the huge reward money that had been gathered from local officials in the search for Queen Leanne Daguinsin's supposed killer.

A publication material or pubmat shared by Rep. Barzaga on his Facebook Thursday night, March 30 bared that the reward for information that could lead authorities to victim Queen Leanne Daguinsin's killer has reached P1.1 million.

The breakdown of the reward money is as follows: P300,000 each from the Dasmariñas City government, Cavite Governor Jonvic Renulla, and Senator Bong Revilla; and P100,000 each from Dasmariñas City Mayor Jenny Barzaga and Rep. Barzaga.

"Para sa sinumang may impormasyon ukol sa suspek, tumawag o magtext kay Cong Pidi Barzaga...o kay Dasmariñas Police Chief Lt. Col. Juan Oruga Jr. (For anybody that has information about the suspect, call or text Cong Pidi Barzaga...or Dasmariñas Police Chief Lt. Col. Juan Oruga Jr.)," the pubmat read.

The pubmat also showed a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera screenshot of the alleged killer.

Daguinsin, 24, was a computer science student. She was found riddled with stab wounds inside her dormitory in Barangay Santa Fe, Dasmariñas last Tuesday.
