2 COVID-19 infection cases, 6 deaths reported among Filipinos abroad

Reports from the various Philippine foreign posts on Wednesday showed two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) infections and six new fatalities among Filipinos abroad.
In a report, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said the new confirmed cases and new fatalities were recorded among Filipinos in the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East.Â
Meanwhile, no new recoveries were reported today.
The total number of COVID-19 cases involving Filipinos worldwide has now reached 10,419. Of the total, 6,629 have recovered, 3,005 are undergoing treatment and 785 died of the disease.Â
To date, the overall number of countries and regions with confirmed cases among Filipinos remains at 78.
