Work at Makati City hall only until 12 noon today, number coding suspended

To comply with the community quarantine due to the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) , the local government unit (LGU) of Makati City has announced that work at City Hall will only be until 12 noon today, Friday, March 13.
This was announced by the city government in a Facebook post.
The LGU also announced that the number coding scheme in the city this Friday will also be suspended.
As of March 12, the Department of Health said eight residents of Makati City have tested positive for COVID-19, excluding another positive case of a Taiwanese man who stayed at a hotel in the city before being admitted in a hospital.
On Thursday night, President Duterte placed Metro Manila under a community quarantine and raised the alert level to Code Red sub-Level 2 due to reports of community transmission.
The President also suspended land, air, and sea travels to and from Metro Manila from March 15 to April 14, 2020.
