WHO verifying if six Filipino crew on Grand Princess cruise ship are positive for COVID-19

By Analou De Vera The World Health Organization (WHO) said that it is verifying information that six Filipino crew members aboard the M/V Grand Princess cruise ship anchored off the coast of San Francisco, California, were among those who tested positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). "Among the 19 crew members, I understand there were six Filipinos. This is unconfirmed report, this is just what we've heard," the WHO official said. Last Thursday, Health Secretary Francisco Duque III said about 500 Filipinos were aboard the ship.
