The entire archipelago may continue to experience hot and humid weather, but some areas may experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Wednesday, March 29.
Partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may persist due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Easterly winds are warm air coming from the Pacific Ocean.
PAGASA advised the public to stay vigilant as there may be flooding or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
In its extended weather outlook for key areas from March 30 to April 2, PAGASA said that maximum air temperatures may reach 33-34 degrees Celsius (℃) in Metro Manila, 33-34℃ in Tuguegarao City, 25-26℃ in Baguio City, 31-32℃ in Tagaytay City, 32-33℃ in Puerto Princesa City, 32-33℃ in Metro Cebu, 32-33℃ in Metro Davao, and 33-34℃ in Zamboanga City.
PAGASA said it has not observed any tropical cyclone that could form within the country’s area of responsibility until the end of March.
