Rep. Olivarez provides 'Kilay is life,' free checkup to 200 Paranaque women

The office of Parañaque 1st District Rep. Edwin Olivarez provided free consultation and check up to around 200 women as well as a "Kilay is Life" activity as part of the celebration of National Women’s Month.   Olivarez said the program, called “Kababaihan: Maganda na, Healthy ba” was held at Barangay Vitales gym  and offered free Obstetrics-Gynecology consultation,  breast examination, breast ultrasound, prenatal check, up and ECG (electrocardiogram).   He said that aside from the free consultation and check up, a team from his congressional office led by Eva Nono, Bernie Amurao, and Mar Jimenez also prepared a “Kilay is Life” activity where women were given free eyebrow threading, eyebrow makeup, and beauty kits. Olivarez said Mayor Eric Olivarez joined in the activity, together with his wife Janet, and son Councilor Paolo Olivarez. He said their partner organization 1Life Philippines Inc. headed by Director for Operations Prof. Lec Toribio and Field Coordinator Roy Paragas provided the medical equipment and manpower. The congressman said a team from the  Ospital ng Parañaque (OsPar)-1 headed by Dr. Jefferson Pagsisihan and City Health Office, Dr Darius Sebastian joined the medical mission. Those who lined up for the medical services were served popcorn by the staff of Councilor Olivarez while waiting for their turn. Olivarez said the distribution of Assistance for Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) to residents of Barangay Vitalez was also conducted.
