Mayor Sotto assures Pasig City gov't regular and job order employees of full pay during Luzon quarantine

By Allysa Nievera Pasig City government employees will receive their full pay during community quarantine amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) threat. In a facebook post on Tuesday, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto said all regular and job order employees will receive their full pay.
"Wag kayong mag-alala, tuloy-tuloy kayong makakatanggap ng buong sweldo -- kahit yung mga job order na 'no work no pay,' he said. (Don’t worry, you will keep receiving your entire salary, even the job order employees on 'no work no pay.') Sotto also said frontline employees will receive hazard pay, overtime pay, and other benefits. As of the afternoon of Wednesday (March 18), there are 202 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 17 fatalities in the country.
