Locsin orders immediate repatriation of Filipinos on Diamond Princess cruise ship

"It’s our duty to take care of our Overseas Filipinos wherever they are. I want them home now!" he added. On Tuesday, the government of Japan said it has finished testing all persons aboard the cruise for the coronavirus disease (COVID-2019). The DFA earlier said there are 531 Filipino crew members and 7 passengers aboard the virus-hit cruise ship. A total of 401 of them have expressed their desire to be repatriated, according to DFA Undersecretary Brigido Dulay.
