Fighting cock breeder nabbed for illegal possession of firearms in Isabela

CAMP Marcelo Adduru, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – A 45-year-old fighting cock breeder was arrested for illegal possession of firearms in Barangay San Isidro, Cauayan, Isabela. Police identified the suspect as Ryan Piamonte. Piamonte was arrested following the implementation of a search warrant for violation of Republic Act 10591 or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act in JBO Game Farm. Found from the suspect were two caliber .45 pistols, three steel magazines for caliber .45 pistol, and 11 caliber .45 bullets. Suspect was taken to the CIDG office in Santiago City, Isabela together with the confiscated pieces of evidence for filing of appropriate case.
