Dubai closes bars, lounges due to coronavirus outbreak: government circular

DUBAI - Dubai is closing all bars and lounges in the emirate with immediate effect until the end of March due to the coronavirus outbreak, according to a government circular issued on Monday.

A Dubai government media office spokeswoman did not immediately comment when contacted by Reuters.
Popular Dubai bar Barasti said on social media it was closing until the end of the month, in line with a directive from the authorities.
