In an announcement posted on its Facebook page, the DSWD said in-kind donations will be accepted at any of the following areas: nearest DSWD office; DSWD-Disaster Response Management Bureau (DRMB); DSWD Central Office, IBP Road, Batasan Hills; and the National Resource Operations Center, Brgy. 195 NAIA, Chapel Road, Pasay City.
The department said cash donations may be deposited to the DSWD's dollar and peso savings accounts, both at the Land Bank of the Philippines (LBP).
Its dollar savings account name is “DSWD Foreign Donation” with account number: 3124-0055-81 and Swift code: TLBPPHMMXXX.
Its peso savings account name is “DSWD Donation Fund” with account number: 3122-1011-84.
The DSWD also advised volunteers to contact the National Resource and Logistics Management Bureau (NRLMB).
In an earlier FB post, DSWD Region IV-A encouraged the public to donate goods and items that are immediately needed at the affected areas.
These include face masks; bottled water; hygiene kits with toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, sanitary napkins, and diapers; sleeping mats, blankets, and towels; and food items such as canned goods, biscuits, noodles, and other ready-to-eat meals.
The DSWD reminded the public that it does not accept donations of used clothing for health and hygiene reasons.
The DSWD Region IV-A said donations may be delivered to any of the following: DSWD Field Office IV-A, Alabang-Zapote Road, Alabang, Muntinlupa City; DSWD Field Office IV-A Warehouse in Barangay Gregoria de Jesus, Gen. Mariano Alvarez, Cavite; or to the National Resource Operations Center, Chapel Road, Pasay City.
Donors may directly coordinate with the city or municipal social welfare and development offices of the affected areas, DSWD said. "Please note that all donations must be duly accounted by the receiving agency through an acknowledgement receipt."
