DPWH-Pangasinan to activate 'Lakbay Alalay' for Holy Week


LINGAYEN, Pangasinan – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Pangasinan will implement "Oplan: Lakbay Alalay" to provide guidance and assistance to motorists during the Holy Week.

Bernardo Caronongan, information officer of the DPWH Pangasinan 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO), said the agency will deploy four traffic motorist assistance centers in different strategic locations to provide service to motorists traveling on national roads in the province.

The motorist assistance groups of the DPWH will provide services at road boundaries of the second and fourth districts of Pangasinan to ensure the smooth and safe travel of motorists and commuters.

"We will have four teams assigned to the following roads such as Mangaldan-Manaoag-Binalonan Road, Pangasinan-La Union Road, Pangasinan-Zambales Road, and Pangasinan-Tarlac Road," said Caronongan.

Caronongan added that the motorist assistance teams will provide public services from April 5 to 10.
