Carlos hails kind, courteous Palaweños during El Nido trip

House Speaker Martin Romualdez's chief policy adviser on security and defense concerns, Professor Clarita Carlos is smitten not just by physical beauty of El Nido, Palawan, but also by the inner beauty of its people. Carlos recently shared on Facebook about her summer escapade El Nido, which is known for its white sand beaches and glass-like waters. "For those of us so gaga about foreign tourist spots, why don’t we patronize first our beautiful tourist spots, like EL NIDO, PALAWAN!" the former national security adviser wrote, the emphasis hers. "The Palawenos are very kind, courteous and super honest people… unblemished by the abominable behavior of many city dwellers…Thank you, El Nido!!!" she added, in a nice shout-out to the locals.
