Acrylic barriers set up in the Senate for opening of 2nd regular session
The Senate has set up acrylic barriers to provide protection against COVID-19 as the upper chamber gears up for the opening of the 2nd regular session.

The Senate Public Relations and Information Bureau (PRIB) provided photos showing acrylic barriers installed between tables, seats, and side railings at the plenary hall where the opening ceremony will be held.
The Senate will start its session on Monday, at 10 a.m. Afterwards, some of the senators will physically attend President Duterte’s fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) which will be held at the House of Representatives.
Other senators, however, have opted to participate in the SONA virtually.
The Senate had also set up a medical bureau for senators and staff who would like to undergo rapid tests for COVID-19.
