Dr. Grace Tan, spokesperson of the Bacolod City Inter-Agency Task Force Against COVID-19, in a press briefing, said these persons voluntarily submitted themselves to the CHO for monitoring due to their travel history.
Tan said that 13 of them had traveled to Seoul, South Korea, four from Malaysia, one from Singapore, one from Thailand, and one from Japan.
They were considered PUMs because they came from COVID-19 affected countries, she added.
Tan said they will be placed on a 14-day home quarantine since their travel from these countries.
Tan also said that 18 of them did not exhibit flu-like symptoms, but two of them were brought to the hospital due to pneumonia and cough.
