16 drug pushers nabbed in week-long operation in Cordillera

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet – Sixteen drug personalities were arrested during a week-long operation conducted by  the Police Regional Office-Cordillera. Based on the records of the Regional Operations Division, a total of 27.90 grams of shabu with an overall standard drug price of P189,720 were confiscated from the sixteen drug personalities arrested during the operation conducted from March 19 to March 25. Five of the sixteen drug personalities were arrested by Baguio City Police Office, four by Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO), three by Kalinga PPO, two by Mt. Province PPO, and one arrest each by the Apayao PPO and the operatives of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU). In Baguio City, the arrested drug personalities were identified as Dlanor John Villanueva, 31; Christopher Bajit, 43; Dale Tayaba, 41; Anna-Lynn Lee, 50; and Francisco Corpuz Jr., 25 while Joel Appag, 52, was arrested by the operatives of Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU). Suspects arrested by Benguet PPO were John Kenneth Sambrano, 26; John Dave Suan, 24; Shanon Codiamat, 20; and Junar Daguioa, 20, while Bongbong Tayab, 29; Jack Maggongoy, 20; and Fidel Coyub, 29 were arrested by the operatives of Kalinga PPO. The two suspects arrested by Mt. Province PPO personnel were identified as David Eguid, 43, and Jodell Montealegre, 18, while the lone drug suspect nabbed by the Apayao PPO was identified as Lorendo Atta, 29.
