Seven female cops recognized during National Women's Month celebration in Cordillera for notable deeds
CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – Seven female personnel of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera were rewarded for their notable accomplishments in their respective areas in the province.
They were Capt. Celina Pinading of Pinukpok Municipal Police Station in Kalinga, Capt. Gemma Lumayyung of Luna Police Station in Apayao, Captain Aida Esteban of Sabangan MPS. Cpl. Marichu Wallace of Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD), NUP Josie Mayangao of Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division, MSgt. Norie Pis-oy of Benguet Police Provincial Office.
A Medalya ng Kagalingan (Philippine National Police Medal of Merit) was awarded to Capt. Pinading for her contributions that led to the successful arrest of an individual listed as the No. 7 most wanted person at the Regional Level in Pinukpuk, Kalinga.
The same award was given to Cpt. Lumayyung for the successful arrest of No. 3 most wanted person at the provincial level for the crime of rape in Luna, Apayao, and Capt. Esteban for the successful arrest of the number one most wanted person at the provincial level in Cubao, Quezon City.
A Medalya ng Kasanayan (PNP Efficiency Medal) on the other hand was awarded to Non-Uniformed Personnel Susana Molitas of the RPRMD for her invaluable service rendered in the successful conduct of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing with the Baguio-Benguet Psychological Services and Consultancy Center in Camp Major Bado, Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on January 9, 2023.
The same award was given to Cpl. Wallace also of RPRMD for her invaluable service rendered in the successful conduct of the MOA signing with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on October 10, 2022 in Camp Major Bado, Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet, and NUP Josie Mayangao of the Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division (RPSMD) for the successful seminar/workshop on Annual Operational Plans and Budget and ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management System Cascading and lecture on UPER parameters to the different PPOs/CPO of PROCOR from March 6 to 14, 2023.
Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya (PNP Relations Medal) was awarded to MSgt Norie Pis-oy for distributing food packs and school supplies to 60 Grade 6 students of Bahong Elementary School and for the conduct of a lecture on Anti-Child Abuse and Rape Awareness Campaign in the same school on December 12, 2022.
The seven cops and one non-uniformed cop were recognized during the culmination of the Police Regional office-Cordillera’s month-long celebration of the National Women’s Month on Monday, March 27, at Camp Major Bado Dangwa in La Trinidad, Benguet.
The ceremony was graced by Civil Service Commission Regional Director Nerissa Canguilan who served as the guest of honor and speaker, and Brig. General David Peredo, Jr.
