Man injured in Pasay fire; 12 families affected

   A 24-year-old man was injured in a fire that affected 12 families in Barangay 20, Zone 2, Pasay City on Tuesday, March 28. Pasay City Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) identified the injured victim as Francisco Santos, a resident of  Porvenir, F.B. Harrison St.,Brgy. 20 Zone 2.   The BFP said almost 50% of Santos’ body sustained second degree burns and is now being treated at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).   Base on the report of the Pasay City BFP, the fire started at about 5:15 a.m. in a house at No. 118 Porvenir, F.B. Harrison Street. The fire quickly spread to neighboring houses which were made of light materials.   Firefighters put out the blaze at 6:02 a.m. The cause of fire and the cost of damage to property have yet to be determined, the BFP said.
