Villar completes ULTRA facility for COVID-19

By James A. Loyola The Manny Villar Group has completed the 132-bed “We Heal as One” Center at ULTRA, Pasig City in 3 days as an additional health facility to isolate and treat COVID-19 patients. Villar, Jr. (Source: https://www.starmalls.com.ph) In a statement, the group said the two nurse stations in the facility were also completed in record time. “We acknowledge that optimal isolation space is much needed amid this pandemic, hence, we fully support the government in its drive to repurpose any available government or private structure into health facilities,” said Villar Group of Companies Chairman Manuel B. Villar. The Villar Group together with the Department of Public Works and Highways finished the job in three days by working 24/7. Last April 15, 2020, the Manny Villar Group had also turned over the PICC Quarantine Facility with 294 patient cubicles, 6 nurse stations, and 6 smart houses outside Forum building three days ahead of schedule. The health facility at ULTRA is set to be turned over to The Philippine National Police (PNP) Medical Corps within the week.
