TikTok donates US$1 M to PGH

  By Minka Klaudia Tiangco The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) Medical Foundation, Inc. received a US$1-million donation (over P50 million) from social video sharing app TikTok. (TIkTok Philippines / MANILA BULLETIN) (TIkTok Philippines / MANILA BULLETIN) The donation came as the Philippines continues to battle the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with the PGH in the frontlines as one of the country's COVID-19 referral centers. “TikTok hopes that the donation will benefit doctors and medical workers in the Philippines who are working around the clock and under incredibly challenging circumstances to save lives,” TikTok said in a Facebook post on Thursday morning. “We are looking forward to seeing better and brighter days with you,” it added.
